How to Watch Disney+ from Anywhere In The World.
Disney + is finally out with a huge catalog of movies and TV shows such as The Lion King, Toy Story, most of the wonder movies and a few originals. Disney + is available in several countries right now, including the US, Canada and the Netherlands. If you visit the page from any other country, you will see this error message.
To get around this geographic limitation, we need a few things. Android smartphone, good VPN with US servers and credit card that supports international transactions. Let’s start.
Get a Disney + subscription
Step 1. First take out your Android smartphone. If you don’t have an Android smartphone, you can use Android emulator apps like Nox player on your computer. Unfortunately, at this time, you cannot use your computer or iOS devices to create an account.
Step 2. Before we proceed, make sure your credit card is updated in your Play Store account and international transactions are enabled for it. If you are not sure if international transactions are available for your credit card, check with your bank or credit card provider.
To add a credit card to your Play Store account, go to Play Store Hamburger Menu Payment Methods Add Payment Method Add Credit Card Information.
Step 3: If you are not living in the US, you will not be able to view the Disney + app in the Play Store, you can either specify the location of your Play Store account on your US smartphone or download the app from the internet. Go to Google and search for Disney + APK. Download it and install it on your smartphone.
Step 4. After installing the application, if you open it, you will receive an error message stating that the service is not available in your country. To bypass this geographic restriction, open any VPN app of your choice. We tested it on Smart DNS Proxy VPN and PureVPN and both worked well for us. These are paid VPN services that cost several dollars a month depending on the plan you choose. Alternatively, you can also try one of these free VPNs and see if they work.
Then select a US server and connect to a VPN. Remember which server you choose in the VPN app because we’ll need it in the next step. I chose a server in New York.
Step 5: Now, this is important, set your smartphone time according to the time your VPN server is on. In my case, I chose New York.
Go to Settings System Date & Time Disable Auto Time and set your time zone to New York. This is only required the first time you create your Disney + account, you don’t have to do it again.
Step 6: Now, as a security measure, clear the cache and storage on the Disney + app info page. You can open the page by pressing and holding the Disney + icon and selecting App Information.
Step 7. If you run the application now, you will see the “Free Trial” page, click the button and select a subscription plan. You can set a monthly payment or pay at once for the entire year. Follow the onscreen instructions and set up your Disney + account.
Step 8. After you are done, the application will ask you to pay. Use Google Pay to confirm your payment and start your subscription. It will take a while, and once that happens, all the Disney magic is now on your phone.
You can now watch all Disney + shows available in the US on the app. Make sure the VPN is always connected when you log into Disney +, otherwise you may get the error again in the future. To fix this, just clear your cache, cookies and app history, then launch the app after connecting to a US server in the VPN app and it should start working again.
You can now use the same login to watch Disney + on iPhone, computer, or even Android TV. Just start a VPN with a server in the US, sign in with your Disney + credentials, and watch your favorite shows. To watch it on PS4 or streaming devices, you can set up a VPN on your router.
Get Disney + anywhere in the world
The Disney + app interface looks like Netflix with a similar profile layout. You can download the show locally, watch it on 4 different screens at once. You can also create child profiles and set up parental controls. Unlike Netflix, which only supports 4, you can create up to 7 profiles on Disney + and there is no limit to the number of devices you can download movies and TV shows to. That’s cool.
So, here’s how you can subscribe and watch Disney + outside of supported countries. Let me know which shows you are going to have in the comments below.
